Es una vez más un video en clave nacionalista. No negaré que tiene gracia. Pero me preocupa que se aluda al PP como neo-facha.
El neofascismo es ahora mucho más sútil y se sirve por televisión. El neofascismo consiste en ser fiel al presidente (con aire de niño bueno) sin pedirle cuentas. Este exige lealtad ciega, y en democracia los ciudadanos no son así, no son ciegos seguidores. El neofascimo hoy pide el "Sí" en el referendum.

Wall Street Votes NO
The Mas-Zapatero Statute has already destroyed, in order, the coalition in Catalonia, the president of the Catalan government and Barcelona Airport before a single vote has been cast!
The Spanish nationalist referendum on the Mas-Zapatero Statute of Autonomy in Catalonia coincides with Montenegro’s vote for independence. Counting Serbia this is the 25th new State in Europe since the second World War, in average of one independent nation every two years. The Wall Street Journal, produced in dynamic New York and not in some fatous imperial glory like Madrid, London or Paris, editorialises that Catalonia, among others, is a serious candidate to join the European concert of nations: “The Serbs can at last celebrate their independence from Titoist delusions of grandeur. Balkanization doesn’t deserve its bad name. Throughout history Europe’s microstates have tended to be less bellicose (shrimps don’t pick fights), more democratic (government can’t be closer to the people) and, with fewer resources to waste, economically savvier. To thrive the Tiny Tims need open trade borders –thank the EU for that today- and peace, which now comes courtesy of a U.S.-led NATO. The mushrooming of new States in Europe has tended, especially after the wars of the early 1990s, to coincide with the spread of freedom on the Continent.”
The open-mindedness of the conservative newspaper is light years away from official battening down for the 18th June referendum. The Statute passed by 90% of parlamentarians in the Catalan Parliament- all except the PP- gave a modest dignity to Catalonia which let it fit into Spain. Instead the Mas-Zapatero Statute bars any chance Catalans can ever feel comfortable in Spain: No national team, no European representation, no recognition of Catalan outside Catalan speaking areas, no control over our taxes, no management of our infrastructures, no judicial independence. This Statute imposed by Jacobins closes the door to a settlement with Spain, a grevious strategic error giving Catalans empty words instead of substance. Colonel Austin Bay says in TCS Daily: “Montenegro’s bye-bye to Serbia was about local control, not virulent ultra-nationalism. No astute Spanish politician should take Catalan stability for granted.” Unfortunately Spanish politicians charge horns first like the bulls they adore.
The 18th June vote is not about Catalonia, rather about Spanish nationalism, like Spanish nationalist keep repeating day and night. The PP homunculus, Citizens of Catalonia, has turned backwards the socialist slogan: If you vote, vote no. PSC confirms the vote is about Spanish nationalism, not Catalonia, with their call: Vote yes for Catalonia, no for the PP. The PP is totally powerless in Catalonia, unrepresented outside Barcelona and with opinion polls giving no Parliamentary seats in the early elections. The PP troglodytes voted against in Parliament, boycotted Catalan products and instigated anti Catalan racism, something not seen since Milosevic broke up Yugoslavia. The PSC has lost all its autonomy from PSOE and couldn’t have done it worse, allowing the opposition –CiU and PP- to dictate the Statute and sacrificing Pasqual Maragall without having an alternative capable of winning elections which at the latest will be this Autumn.
Reality has already superseded the Spanish nationalist referendum and the Mas-Zapatero Statute. Iberia is leaving Barcelona now, at the worse possible moment for the vote, proving we are treated as dirt. The central government spent 6 billion euros, of which one third comes from Catalan taxes, to give a new terminal in Madrid to an airline which is supposed to be private. Thus we pay for Madrid to compete with us. The Mas-Zapatero Statute has already destroyed, in order, the coalition in Catalonia, the president of the Catalan government and Barcelona Airport before a single vote has been cast! Wall Street knows all about adding and subtracting and sees that the numbers don’t square when Saniards always win and Catalans always pay. This is why Wall Street votes no.
